Erie Institute of Technology has been named by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) as a 2017 School of Excellence. ACCSC is recognized by the United States Department of Education as the designated institutional accrediting body for over 650 post-secondary, trade and technical schools that serve 150,000 students each year. In 2017 only 14 schools received the School of Excellence designation.
The School of Excellence Award is ACCSC's most prestigious institutional award and recognizes Erie Institute of Technology for their commitment to the expectations and rigors of ACCSC accreditation, as well as the efforts made by the institution in maintaining high-levels of achievement among their students.
